I'm posting this for a friend.

Has anyone ever had the manifold heater thing keep cycleing instead of shutting off at 20mph.

I guess it kept cycleing until the amp meter pegged on the low side and the check engine light came on. He shut the truck off and restarted it and it was fine. It only happed once (so far)

Mine just started cyling pretty much continuously until the truck is up to normal operating temp. It will do this every time it is started when it is cold outside regardless of how warm the engine is or my speed. I have a pretty good DC dealer that has looked at it but they haven't been able to figure this one out yet..... Hopefully soon though, if anyone has any ideas let me know.

Thanks,

Doug
