I want to paint my tractor's undercarriage area with minimal work of course. There is no rust, just a lot of hydraulic lines and cables, etc. I would like to pressure wash it off and spray it with something that will chemically bond with the existing paint.
This Case tractor was built around the time IH bought them up. Underneath, it is orange and white. Someone painted it up red and black like the Case IH is. I was told the factory might have done this. By the way, for you tractor guys, get this part. The factory manual says 2090, the ID plates say 2090. This stickers on the fenders said 2096. When I first bought it, I figured some previous owner had done the paint job. When I removed the stickers and sanded down to white, I found 2096? Whatever, anyway, what I have is some orange showing through here and there.
I started out making minor repairs on the cab, ended up gutting and redoing the whole cab including the fender wells. So, I may as well go for it. Keep in mind I am stabilizing not restoring it. TIA
