Installed new front brake pads, inside RHS rim sticky weights slightly touch caliper creating slight scrape sound. I filed weights down a bit, scrape continues. I don't put outside rim weights because beauty rim knocks them off. If I cut touching section of sticky weights I think I will put tire out of balance. What to do? Thank you. Be well, protected. Godspeed, Patrick

That will take the balance out, true/false? Thank you for quick reply. Yeah, TDR. Thats what I'm talking about! Patrick

I'm just talking about moving them in or out on the wheel. It shouldn't affect the balance, at least not noticeably so. If it does, have the tire shop static balance them where they put the weights only in one spot in the center of the wheel, not dynamically where they put some on the inside and some on the outside of the wheel.

Took off 6 weights=1.5 oz. Got on freeway to 80mph. All is well. Thank you folks. Be well stay at homestead if you can.
Godspeed, Patrick

Forgot to mention, I used a feeler findnh the weights that cleared were .003 inches.
Blessings to all We gonna make it!
