Attention: TDR Forum Junkies My 04 with almost 90K developed a idle stability problem and a off idle stumble under a load...
The truck would search for the correct idle and as you pulled off from a light or stop sign you'd hit a spot with the foot pedal where nothing happened... . when it decided to come back to like it would jump ahead and run fine...
Its now been in the care of the dealer for 5 days..... the first 3 they ordered parts in..... as all were star parts..... after a conversation with them they put a second truck along side and started to switch parts... .
Its now Sunday night... . and after 5 days... . M-F and part of a day on Sat it still is not diagnosed or repaired..... We pull a trailer with this truck so even if they loaned me a truck. . it wouldn't handle my needs... .
So there seems to be some trucks they don't have the ability to fix... . or who knows what..... but at least I've said my peace... thanks for listening... .
