Took my truck to a shop and they came back with no positive answer. It has a TST plate in it and it is gutless. Spoke with Cummins West and they will look at it Friday. Don M, and the rest thanks for the suggestions.

I want my CTD to run hard:{ :{ :{

I don't have an answer, just saw you were in my local, Fresno??. I have much confidence in ?Automotive Diesel Electric?. I don't know if the name is right they are on the right off cherry about 1/4 south of jensen in fresno.

If cummins west gets stumped these guys are pretty knowlegeable. email me if you don't know them and would like better directions or a phone#.

it's possible that.....

1) the timing is WAY off... .

2) lift pump ate itself... .

3) P7100 ate itself... .

4) bad compression... .

5) bad load o' fuel... .

6) low boost... .

7) transmission probs... . power not making it to rubber... .

8) enter your prognosis here:

No power

Took the truck to Cummins West and they ran a waste gate test, w/gate is OK.

Don M, I pulled the AFC. did the check you recommended. The AFC holds air.

All lines and fittings are tight.

I pulled the screen under the heater(takes 17mm wrench),cleaned with dish soap,rinsed very well,installed.

Question, while looking down into the hole where the AFC sits, plate opening.

I had my son press the accellerator. Press fast and the tab that follows the plate hits the plate and withdraws?

Do this slow and the tab stays at,on,near the plate!

Is this normal?

I am looking for more power:{ :{ :{ Oo.

After installing 4k springs my tab needed aligned and the truck made way more power than ever before. I expected to Dyno about 325-350hp and it made 390hp but that extra power came after the tab adjustment.
