That's the one we're getting as well. I wanted the Cummins C series, my driver insisted on hydraulic brakes, Freightliner refused to engineer the combination, said it wouldn't "fit". As much as I like the 5. 9 we felt it was just too small for our application and I didn't want to get into Cat's acert system. The only icing on the cake is the MB engine is MUCH cheaper than the other two.

It's official

I just got the word from AAEFES car sales that they cannot build the truck I ordered with the 5. 9/48RE. To get the 6. 7, I would have to pay $2,000 more. I am cancelling the order and will get my deposit back.



Maybe I can get a good deal on an '06 when I get back to the states.
