Doc, The only way to get rid of the skunk cabbage is a curtain drain to dry the area out. Here we would not be allowed to get rid of it. It would be considered precious wetlands. Dry the area out and keep on top of it. Here the soil where the skunk cabbage grows is black muck. If you have that, you'll have to mix sand to get it more like soil.
