I have an 05 3/4 ton diesel of course and every time i down shift it, it takes a couple of seconds or so before it actually down shifts. Is this normal on the stock automatic transmission for dodge and if so why? My days 05 ford down shifts almost immediately and it is way nice to not have to wait for a delay. Is there any way i can make mine down shift faster with out changing transmissions or no? Thanks guys.
