Stock Bed On A Chassis Cab?

Anybody know if you can put a stock dually bed over the chassis cab frame? I know the wheel bases are longer for the chassis cab so there will be a gap between the cab and bed but what I'm wondering is if the bed will clear the frame. I was thinking of fabricating a filler box to go between the bed & cab. make it with the same body shape/contour and paint it body color. Then have some access doors at the top for tools & storage. But again just wondering if the bed will sit on top of the frame with no problems.

You would have to raise the bed and add fillers between the bed rails and frame since the frame on a C&C is flat.
