stock engine horsepower?

I am wondering what the stock engine horsepower is on the 2003 auto's, and how can I tell what version the motor is? Thanks

The HP should be 305. The 2004. 5 jumped to 325.

Read the engine plate on the driver's side valve cover. it will list the HP, it could be 235HP, 250HP or 305HP.

I found that information on a metal plate attached to the front side if the intake. It is kinda hard to read, but it is there. It will list the "advertised" horsepower.

Are you saying I don't make 250 HP at the flywheel?
