What kind of differences will I notice if I upgrade to a ddp stage 2 injector from my stock injector that have 250,000 miles on them.

That'll be a nice shot in the arm. :D

Might pick a tiny bit on mileage and run smoother. Sure love my 4s. They make a real nice injector.

Source Automotive has some good tips on these injectors: Source Automotive Performance Diesel

Note that airflow improvements are strongly suggested for the Stage IIs.

Good luck with your decision. I am looking at getting the Stage Is, hopefully fairly soon. Funny how everyone seems to be looking at injectors now that fuel prices are going out of sight. #@$%!

Sorry, I just reread my post. I didn't mean they had different tips on the injectors, I meant they had some good info on them (you know, "tip" as in "hint", "advice", etc . . . ) ;)

You meant what I knew you meant :) Was the power gain very noticeable like it was when I put a different fuel plate in or was it a different feel?

Sorry I can't comment on that yet--I haven't ordered them. I am still trying to gather info before I make a big purchase like that. My totally inexperienced guess would be that bigger injectors would be a slightly different feel than a new fuel plate, since the injectors would allow more fuel across the board, rather than changing the fueling profile. Hopefully someone who can actually speak to this firsthand will reply.
