decided on gauges for my 2nd gen

Well you guessed it, after 2 years of pounding on the stock cooler she finally gave up, I've noticed over the last 2 weeks that the quick light throttle spool is gone and cruise EGT's were up 100 degrees this weekend on a 400 mile trip and boost was at 3-4 psi, but it wasn't till I was driving back from the store at 800 degrees and zero boost that it really showed up. Today I pressure tested the system and it was leaking huge, so fare well to my little stock friend that has taken the beating..... say 1000 times over 50 psi :{ you have taken me far but it's time to make way for your Big Brother.

The funny part about it was when I called Piers to ask about the new cooler it had just came in that day, what timing!

I should have it and in next week then begin the R&D, I'm looking forward to trying a real intercooler out as I have a ton of data and examples of boost and temps.

Jim, my intercooler Piers had made for me is the real deal. It was custom made to my measurements, w/ a 4" thick core, 4" inlet/outlets. Hows a 125 degree intake temp with a 1800 degree exhaust temp while on the dyno, @ 80psi? I'm pretty sure it's good for 110psi.

I remember Piers telling me about that one, I may bounce some numbers off you as a comparison before I go public. I know your idea and I may do that too but this is more for the folks on here, I'm just the tester right now but if it works good I may ask to keep/buy it!
