stock radio upgrade questions.

i have the stock radio with the sirius option. single cd. and i was thinking of getting the my gig? radio from like a jeep or something. that way i can have nav and sat radio. have any of you guys done this? i know the trim would need work, but is there anything else? bcm flash?

Be careful about changing anything in the electrical system of an '06 and later Ram without talking with someone who knows first. The '06 and newer trucks use CANBUS technology which, IIRC, means electricity and data flow through the same wires to connect components and allow communication with the ECM/PCM.

These trucks are different from all previous models. In some cases only a dealer service department can activate the components.

I may be exaggerating the complexity somewhat but keep in mind they are often no longer plug and play compatible and parts swapping may be impossible.
