Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Stock Trans Pan Qty?

Anyone know how much fluid the stock pan on a 47RE holds?

That's what I was afraid of, I surfed over there and just didn't want to believe it was 6qts. I just bought a B&M pan based on info I got here on the TDR and it looked to me like it was not really any deeper than the stock pan. Looks like I'll be sending that sucker back as the B&M only holds 6 qts as well.
