Are there any mods that could be done to the stock 06 turbo to raise its efficiency point and to get it to boost more? If so is it worth the money or should i spring for a HTT? Thanx

Short answer, no. More boost is lost efficiency and you don't have much to gain. It's a great turbo for what it is, not for much more.

Depends on how big you want to go and what yopu want to do. The stocker is a pretty good all around piece for most applications but it will suffer at higher HP levels.

My motor mods in the near future will be complete and are as follows:

Air Dog

Hot Juice

Edge EZ

Modded FCA

CFM intake

Cold Air kit

Exhaust

50hp injectors

I guess what i'm trying to say is will my stock turbo support these mods?

Not used to the max, but, it will perform quite nicely up to a point. A better turbo will give you more performance for sure.

50 hp injectors will run beautifully with a stock turbo. Add a notch of the juice things are getting warm. Add two notches of the Juice things are getting hot, take it to the top plan on buying a turbo.

I would think you would need a turbo to cool things down with those mods. I would take Ckelly up on his offer. The 3000 would definitely move the air you will need.

Your stock turbo will support one modest power modification, in my experience. You could use 50 HP injectors, or Edge EZ box, or the hot Juice on a mild setting. You will definitely need more turbo, quite a bit more, for all the modifications you have planned.
