Yep, TST on 5X3 today and I bent the shaft on the stocky turbo.

I will be shopping on Monday for a new one.

I hope that I can still tow my trailer home tomorrow, about 180 miles. It doesn't look to be rubbing, but when I spin the impeller I can see the shaft wobble.

Just remember that if the turbo lets go you will have a mess in your intercooler and a possible run away if the bearing seal allows oil into the intake system. Good luck and I hope you make it. Mike

100,000 miles on my stuck turbo. . Edge on 5/6 (all the way up) since 30,000 miles. Smarty up on 9 since 80,000 miles I think. 1600-1800 EGT's repeated (1800 when I stacked my TST with the smarty). 45 psi of boost.

ZERO play. no bending. no nothing. PERFECT. Sad to trade it for the PS62 that's leaking a tiny bit of oil. Tho, I'd love to get this PS62 rebuilt into a Silver 66.

Cool that turbo off, warm it up and use a good oil!

I've dyno 512hp and 1027# torque and ran a 13. 9 @ 100mph with that little stocker (7200-7400#).

I wouldn't mess with it! if it weren't Sat night, I would say hang tight and I'll overnight you my stocker and you can drive home on it, but we're kinda in a bind :(

I guess if you're going to do it, take it easy in the ol' girl, but man, I don't know that I'd risk it

I am in Sisters OR and will be going home to Hillsboro tomorrow.

I think it will make it. If it sounds worse tomorrow I will leave my trailer here.

I can deal with oil in the intercooler if I have to, I hope not though.

I have the option of leaving my trailer here and just driving the truck home, but I will have to come back and get it.

If I can get 50 miles from here I will be on the downhill side of the mountain.

I made it home without issues, I left the trailer behind though so I could keep the boost down.

I will upgrade this week I hope and be going back after the trailer on Friday

That sucks, how many miles do you have on your truck. Been running TST since pretty much new. In the beginning I used to crank it up quite a bit but now I rarely take it over 3/2. Still tight and straight at 71k.

Well I had the tow truck pick it up and take it to Rip at Source autmotive.

It is getting a new HTT 62/14 and a new SB OFE with SB Hydraulics.
