Exhaust Brake Question

I picked up a solid, no bulls__t, 3psi of boost on the top end-talking like 2300rpm and up, that I never got with the stock filter box and K&N drop in filter.

Just wondering, how does the BHAF compart to the stock filter in my '92? The form seems to be about the same, but I am guessing that the BHAF is probably bigger.

Yep. If I remember right from my 1992, the stock air filter was about 8" diameter, where the BHAF is like 10. 5" I think.

The most restrictive thing on the 1992 isn't the air filter though--it's that stock airbox. It pulls all the air through a small hole that's smaller than the cross-section of a two-by-four. I ran my 92 for quite awhile with the stock air filter, but without the airbox.
