Stolen Flags

Last night, the evening news said that people were reporting that their flags are disappearing. I can only think of one reason that flags are being stolen. Surely, any one who would want to display a flag wouldn't steal it. What honor is there in flying a stolen flag? The disappearing flags can only be the work of an anti-American group! Once again, we see evidence that the enemy is among us

It's probably part of a thriving export business -- those guys gotta be getting their flags to burn from somewhere! Let's hope a few get caught.

It's happening here in Vernon Twp. , stolen flags at an alarming rate. Imagine this, you go to a local store/stores and they are all sold out. What to do ? Just steal one from a neighbors yard to show your patriotism. WTF

Officer, I feared for my life, I had to go after him with a tire iron. I thought he was going to try to harm my family with our own flag, honest You understand, right. Gee thanks Officer.



On a serious note, if I did catch someone stealing a flag, they would be found tied naked to the court house flag pole early as the sun came up with a not that said, "I TRIED TO STEAL AN AMERICAN FLAG FROM SOMEONES YARD". Even if I was taken into jail and tried for it, that is one arrest record I would be proud to have. Thats right kids, I am the crazy guy who tied some punk to a flagpole naked for stealing my flag back many years ago. I would be a local hero! I better get those security cameras set up I have been wanting.

I saw a sign on a bridge while I was coming in to work this morning that reads "Are You the Sorry Flag Thief".



The flags had disappeared from the church next to the bridge.



Stealing a flag is one thing. Stealing from a church is another!

Hey Chad - if that ever happens, I'll help with your bail! Would love to see that happen to some of the crazies that do things like steal a flag. I'm sure there would be others here that would help with the bail as well.

This is a bit off subject, but... I aint right anyhow.

A couple days after the attack I was travelin through Phoenix (just outside Luke AFB), I drove through a neighborhood where every house had a flag up, damn near brought a tear to my eye.

Norman Rockwell couldn't have pictured a scene like that, it was a treat!!
