2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission stolen truck!

i have something to get off my chest i bought a 97 2500 4x4 SLT laramie standard cab longbed 5 speed with 84000 miles on it for $7,800. :--) no rust, only light scratches, sharp looking truck. Only problem i had with it so far was the fuel shut off solenoid, easy fix. now my buddy is looking for i good deal on one too, i know a deal like that is hard to find, so i need some help with this. anyone selling a nice 96-98 2500 4x4 x-cab 5 speed with less than 150,000 miles for under $15000? I found my 98 12V 5-speed quad cab with 110K miles for 13,000$. there are deals to be had if you look, as you well know.

i am not affiliated but i have bought 2 trucks from a guy locally that sells lots of cummins powered rams on ebay. his prices are usually pretty reasonable.



his ebay handle is dossonline. he is a straight shooter and has 12v's from time to time.



if you see something you like I live about 35 miles away but travel that way pretty often. I would be willing to give a truck the once over while talking to a potential buyer on the cell phone (schedule permitting).

the only problem is i am Very Picky and am prone to make a big deal out of minor problems. I was a buyer at auto auctions for a while so i am a pretty good spotter.



just a heads up on a source for clean rust free southern trucks.

Its gone. It must have been sold the next day. I didn't even get to see what it had in it. Ill keep my eye out, there are two dealers on main that will get a good deal on a cumminn once in a while.

I bought my 97 CC 3500 2wd 12v 5spd off e-bay in a not very highly looked at area.

Something like an "other" section, can't quite remember. paid 5300 for it outa texas, needed a fair amounta work but was worth it IMO.

I noticed yesterday that there is a 94-97 12V, 4x4, longbed, club cab, with 285's and nice wheels. The body looks good, it is marroon and silver. They are asking 5,000$. I dont know if it is auto/5-speed, or how many miles. I will check as soon as I can though.

Heck, maybe I should buy it!!!

If road trips are not a problum, I got my truck from Chirstopher Motors in Rolla , Mo. I have more contact info at home I'll try to remember to post or PM it sat. It looked stock except for eagle wheels, K&N , straight pipe a couple of dings{the next one won't hert so bad] very clean inside and out 210,000 , drove home to MN. 20mpg ran flawlass , only things it needed were batteries and tires thouhgt I paid a little to much,or should I say got a nicer truck than I could aford,7,500 , 3 months & 3,000 miles later still very happy, been watching adds & sites since I don't think I could replace it for less than 9,500-11,500. talk to him a few times since he drove CTD and keeps buyin more
at actions, I think he is worth a checking with.
P. S. Dyno at MIKES the 19th ND. not stock , almost 100 hp than stock.
