Figured I'd share:

Basically the material is Line-X that was sprayed with the low pressure sprayer, COLD, so it doesn't have the rough sand-paper type texture.

Truck Freshly Undercoated and Rust Proofed, with Rock Guard smooth texture material on the rockers.

I will have 315s put on on Friday. . I'll post new pictures then.

Nice

That is what I want to do (some day). I think that is so smart, and it looks nice too. I want mine done in silver to match my current color.

I did mine in june of 2004 and still holding up. My truck was black so painted over the rock guard same color as truck. So far no stone chips.

Undercoat?

What about undercoating the truck with that stuff? I have Speedliner in my bed, and I love it. I want to do my rockers due to stone chips, then I can take off my flaps!!!!

They had my truck Monday-Friday, but I had a lot of things worked on. . They undercoated and rust proofed the truck as well.

They fixed a few dents as well, my rear rocker on the passenger side used to have a bad crinkle:

The rust proofing and undercoating was $299.

The rock guard, body work, fixing my tailgate (skin was separating at the corners from someone putting too much weight on it) cost an additional $400. . Which is pretty good considering in the summer I was quoted $400 JUST for the rock guard.

Not sure about undercoating the truck with that stuff, but I am having the whole interior sheetmetal coated with it for soundproofing. .

Floor, rear metal behind back seat, and the roof skin. .

That is going to cost me $175. 00. . Very cheap considering it is supposed to be better than dynamat, and it will seal up the rust that was forming on my floorpans. . Also the line-x material will conform to the metal PERFECTLY rather than rolling sheets of Dynamat/Brown Bread onto it.

I have a vinyl floor, and water has gotten underneath it from not using FLOOR MATS, so that caused some rust. Nothing major, just surface rust.

I'll let you know how it turns out and post pics if possible. I will say the bare metal is real tinny and I expect the road noise to be drastically reduced.
