Straight Piped Like IT BUT

Straight piped the THING!!! IT is FREAKIN LOUD

But I am not going to be able to keep it long. No DRONE but Really Loud!!

I took off the muffler and just fit a piece of 4" pipe over the 3. 5" muffler swage tapped down and welded so I could put the factory muffler on if I decide to. But I really would like most of the sound to stay it just needs to be tamed a little, So what muffler do I use? Aeroturbine is kinda pricey but is an option. You should see the faces I get.

This toyo taco pulled on the side of me Window down I noised 'em and smoked'em then he saw nothing but taillights.

He pulls up besides us and stares in disbelief he got smoked by the 7000lb BEAST



Well, I had 3 neighbors :{ today!!! I really like the sound BUT it is extremely loud. What can I put that would just tame it some?

Thinking about a dynomax Bullet or Aeroturbine. Aeroturbine is kinda Pricey:--) What do you guys suggest? Is there something else out there I don't know about? I really just want to take the EDGE off it.

i heard a sound clip of a 3rd gen with an aeroturbine and it sounded like a leaf blower..... ive heard good things about those walker mufflers..... im not a 3rd genner, just my . 02

Mine is straightpiped.



I cut out the muffler and everthing behind it, I then got a 3. 5-4 adaptor and a piece of 45 degree 4" pipe and have mine exiting just in front of the dually fender with the 5" tip.



To say the least, it is loud on full throttle, but sounds throaty at idle and mild power levels.



I absolutely love it.

I have a friend with a Walker on his and it sounds good. I have a MagnaFlow on mine and I'm really happy with it. This coming from someone who has run straight pipe on every diesel I've ever owned. With the MagnaFlow it's just a hair louder than stock on the inside, but sounds really good from outside. Not obnoxious, but with a good bark.

No, I have the whole 4" system. I can probably find out though.

Where are you guys finding the Walker mufflers? Any one have part#'s for any of them with web sites. I know that no one handles Walker or Donaldson here but will be in Houston tomorrow might pick one up there. But have to have part #'s .
