Hiya folks, my name is Sam and I'm a Colorado bubba, and one of my good friends, not a TDR member, is apparantly stranded in Atlanta, and while the info is minimal I wanted to get this out and see if onyone down there in the Atlanta is on the Travelers Companion Guide list and could hopefully lend a hand.

Here is what I know. First off, my friends name is Mary Scott - she's likely to be the sweetest lil' old lady you'll ever meet, and she has had a 1970 Duster I think since it was new. She drives it every day and has for years. It's a fantastic little car, and during a trip she's on right now it sounds like a rear axle seal has let go, and she needs someone who can give her a hand and not let her get ripped off at the local repair shop.

I do not know what rear axle it is but I'm betting on a little 7-1/4, maybe an 8-1/4, and least likely an 8-3/4. I'm waiting for a call back from her right now, and I'll repost soonest.

If anyone in the Atlanta ball park would be willing to give her a hand, very hopefully offer a garage, tools, parts aquisition, and some wrench time, I know she'd be famously appreciative.

Please reply soonest, and a big colorful Colorado THANK YOU in advance:D.

okay - well she got home safe and sound :D. I hadn't really heard back from her so I assumed all was well, and sure enough I got word she was back in town safe and sound, so I presume the friends she was staying with got her squared away.

Thanks for your offer DCreed!

- Sam
