I've got a strange one here. This may be simple and I just haven't encountered it yet. This truck is leaking in front by the accessory drive, from a plug/bolt just under the small line going to the KSB. Looking down from the driver fender, it's just below and to the left of where the KSB line goes in the top of the pump. It threads in from the front, so the pump will have to be pulled to service. You can't get a regular wrench on it because of the KSB line. It's just a seep, but why is it leaking? It has a copper washer/seal under it. I tried to turn it with a modified 14mm, cut thin for some other project, which barely slid past the line, but it's not loose. Any help from anyone on this would be greatly appreciated. A good schematic would help, too!!

Thanks,

God bless you and yours,

That is the governor screw/pin adjuster. There is a O ring behind that washer. Pull said pump and replace all the O rings/seals.

Ok, so it is O-ringed... . thanks. Bosch DGK121 backordered for the last two months. Nice. Anyone got one they want to part with?

You might better order one online from someplace, it would be faster. And maybe cheaper too.

Good luck!

Bosch ran out. Of the VE seal kits that is. It don't look good for us. Nor anyone with a VE series/style pump. I was told that it is suspected the co. that makes the seals kits (for BOSCH) went belly up.

If that is the case they will find someone to make them. It just may take a while.

A lot of places went belly up in the past couple of years. All of us manufacturing companys are dealing with this.
