Strange Noise

Can anyone enlighten me to possible cause/s for the following problem. Recently I have noticed a distinct clicking noise when I turn the steering wheel. Seems to be coming from the area of the airbag. Is this anything I should be concerned about? By the way, "I Love My Diesel", sorry it took this long to get one. My thnx to all that may respond.

There is a part in the steering column called a "clock

spring" which may be causing that noise. Mine went

bad and made a similar noise and had to be replaced.
