strange part number request.

I know this is a strange one, but here it goes. I need the part number for a 2003 ram parking brake pad..... the little black pad that goes over the parking brake pedal. I went to the dealer near here and they are sold out and few other dealers i called didnt have it either. I figure if I have the part number, it would be easier to find online or something. Thanks!

Do you have the old one? I had to replace my clutch pedal pad and the number was on the back, imprinted into the rubber. If not, maybe a member can look at his? If no reply by tomorrow, I will check my '03.

I dont have the old one. Since I have owned the truck it has been gone. It's starting to drive me nuts.

That's from the 2003 parts manual. Hopefully it's still a good number.

It looks like 5072 489AA was superceded by 5102088AA.





I found 5102088AA online for 6 bucks, but they wanted 10 for shipping..... urggggggg

Makes you wonder what the difference is. How do you "upgrade" a little rubber pad?
