11 Years old, but 6 years ago it found it's calling.

Air bag vs. helper springs?

Stay away as it sounds like a scam. He states that it is a one owner vehicle, but then states to his knowledge. Sounds like more the one owner to me.

There To my knowledge the car has spent its life in sunny California. The Vixen starts right up no weird noises or anything. Turbo has great boost. As far as any issues are concerned the camper doesn't seem to drive up hills. As soon as you hit a big hill it seems to die. This could be a fuel delivery issue or possibly a clutch or clutch adjustment but in either case I have a new clutch that comes with the vehicle. Also battery will not hold a charge after a few days.

He also stated that it dies when going up a hill, but look at his pros list.

  • Pop up top works
  • Runs and drives
  • $5k worth of extra parts, boxes and boxes
  • Turbo,Clutch,ECU manuals you name it
  • Excellent interior almost factory new
This guy needs to get his story straight.

That BMW engine is the M21. It has 115hp. Even with the torque....under powered.
That's probably why it dont go up hills.
Oh FWIW Wikipedia says it was designed by Bill Collins.

Kind of cool piece....I know the collection of old RV trailers is going crazy.....so someone will want this that knows what it totally is.

It looks a bit like the GMC motorhomes of the 70s that utilized FWD and an Olds Toronado drivetrain.
