I thought that when you go back to stock software this would erase your abs/tire sizing back to stock. it doesn't. also when I went to stock and unhooked my batteries due to some welding when I hooked em up and went to load the smarty and do the abs it still showed the setting I had it on before batteries were disconnected. am I missing something here.

The settings are stored in CMOS and are not dependent on battery power to remain.

Also, the batteries might actually offer some protection to sensitive electronics if left connected. They make pretty good sinks for the spikes generated by welding.

I know on the original smarty before revo when I would go to stock setting I would have to re-adjust the speedo settings. I wonder if the REVO did something different. good to think about on the welding have been told diff ways.

Unhooking the batteries is not required for welding. Some say its very important to unhook before welding. I have worked on cars and big rigs for 5 yrs. Never disconnected the batteries nor had a problem. I maybe pounded on for say this, but its from my own experience.
