I was removing my EZ Boost elbow and replacing it with the stock elbow, when it stripped. I was removing the EZ elbow when it got hard to turn and when it finally came out the first 3 threads are all stipped.

What do I do???

Do they sell a Helicoil kit or something????

Please help this is my DD

Thanks

BigDan

Are the threads stripped only on the brass elbow?

Since brass is softer that the housing material then the housing is probably ok.

It should be a Pipe thread style fitting so if the threads are good in the housing, just apply a little anti-sieze to the new/old elbow and screw it back together.

As far as the Boost fooler elbow, replacements are available from the box builders.

Hope this helps. ;)

It's a little hard to tell, from your post, if your talking about the stock elbow or the EZ elbow. You could get a "die" and try to retread it, or if it is the EZ elbow, just call them and get a replacement. They probably won't even charge you for it... ;)

Dont reply back here!!!!!

Use new thread "Stripped Turbo Housing"

I wish I could delete this thread to avoid Mass Confussion but the administrater said I cant delete my post's:mad:
