Here I am

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Stuck in 2wd. Shift collar is stuck on the passenger side splined shaft.

I cannot budge the shift collar off the passenger side splined shaft.

I took a 3-foot pry bar to the side of the shift collar and could not budge it.

Surprisingly the splines appear very clean and not torn up

Anyone else ever had this happen?

Any suggestions on how to free the shift collar free from the shaft?

running boards, custom bed cover, rhino liner, b&w turnover w/ companion, etc, etc
 
I remember reading about the shift collar being stuck on the directions from Quad 4x4 for replacing the front axle seals. I remember the splines could get messed up causing that. I am out of town and don't have access to my directions but you might give them a call. I have talked to Dan several times and he was always good with giving me help. They have a shop and do this all the time.
