Just installed the BD OD Lockout. After engaging the lockout it stayed in 3rd gear... cant even downshift w/the range selector into 2nd or 1st. I have a PB installed, do they not get along? The PB uses the #13 pin just as the OD lockout does, should I have connected the BD module on the trans side or the PCM side of the PB connection off of pin 13? I connected it on the Trans side but it was such a pain in the ***** that I dont want to do it agin if that isnt the problem...

Ok, so I waited a while and started it again... had all my gears back until i turned the OD lockout on at about 10MPH. It immediately locked into 3rd gear and couldnt get any of my gears back again even after i turned it off (PB was turned off this time)

I guess I forgot to mention that part! Thats my concern, I turn the switch off and it stays locked up in 3rd gear no matter what I do. I have to turn the truck off for a while for it to "reset" before i get normal operation again

You MUST follow the wiring diagram for the OD Lockout and EB integration or it won't work as you have found. I remember doing mine and they had special instructions for the EB integration.

In short, pretty sure they are fighting with each other.

Maybe thats part of the problem; i didnt recieve a wiring diagram that involved EB integration. The only additional mention was if I was installing the Towloc with it I needed to have the 3-4 solenoid connection after the OD lockout, It never made one mention of an EB. The wire I was speaking of in the first post was only the tow/haul signal wire; although I did move it to the other side of the PB connection to see if it would change things (it didnt), it wouldnt have made a difference anyway.

It is installed according to the only set of instructions I have... I was hoping to take advantage of it as I am moving to Cheyenne on Friday w/my 5er in tow. I'll try and call BD this morning.

Thanks Cerb, I knew you'd eventually chime in!

Call BD and ask them is your best bet. I remember something about EB integration on it but not all of it, or, maybe I talked to BD about it.

Good luck.
