My 2006 is stuck in limp mode. The check engine light is on and I have checked for dtc's with the odometer. I had P0069 (boost key on rationality), P0237 (map sensor voltage too low) and U0121 (lost communication with anti-lock brake module). I checked connections, disconnected batteries and the codes have gone away but the light is still on and no power. Any ideas?

Limp

LIMP MODE???? I sure hope your problem of being LIMP is not catching :-laf throw a couple of VIGRA down the tank and see if that helps. Didnt know that these trucks had a limp mode.

you need to do the diagnostics for the dtc's... ... ... .

Got my Edge CTS going and cleared the codes. Now I'm just down to the P0237 so I'll do diagnostics on MAP.

When it's running right no Viagra necessary ;)

I would guess that the MAP sensor has failed by the first two CEL's, or it's not fully plugged in. The P0069 could easily be caused by a failed MAP sensor.

my 07 went into limp mode from an open circuit for #3 injector, cant remember the code. Local mechcanic told me just clearing the code didnt fix the computer. He had to reprogram it, he talked about a couple different systems on the truck. I have put about 2k miles since he reprogramed it. Only charged me 50$

A local independent mechanic "reprogrammed" your ECM?

Not likely.

I would be very skeptical of any independent mechanic who claimed he could reprogram your ECM.
