as usually i was stuck in the snow again or it was a big hole under the snow :)

how are we able to tow our 3g trucks?

in the back i have a custom hitch i use

put what should i do when the back of my truck i stucked?

isent it suposed to be some hooks in front?

last time i had to pull in my axel

(i know it isnt good but didnt find any orher way)

where should i mount hook or is there any

factory solution?

im thinking about welding some metal from the frame and mount

my own front hitch and a winch. .

also under that i was thinking about making homemade plowmounts

My 06 came with tow hooks on the front. Think they are available as after market if you don't have them. I also believe you can get a bolt on front hitch, welding on the frame might not be recommended. How deep is the snow there? I'm in the south so we don't see much snow here but it has been cold here this winter, raining now. bg.

everything from the knees to your belt. . depends

some years now have been just a feet or 2.

but last 2 years 3feet and more. . depends much

on where you are here on the country side 60miles

in any direction can be alot diffrent or really 30miles cn be

i work with forest maschines so often i need to park abit off the road

Like BG Smith says, many of our trucks came with factory supplied tow hooks on the front. I am pretty sure that they are available to retrofit if your truck did not come with them. There are also kits available to mount a FRONT receiver on our trucks.

When I am going to be traveling in snow, I put about 300# of ballast (I used clean sand in bags from a building supply store... later I can use the sand in my sandblaster).

cant find a picture of stock hooks. . but i think i will go fore somthing homebuilt

like a homebuilt winch mount and hitch under that

All our Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks for the US market have had factory tow hooks on the front end of each frame rail, protruding through the bumpers. You should be able to buy them from a MOPAR parts counter via internet and bolt them on.

or cheep with after market bumper suppliers (ranch hand installers) there is one here in my city with a bucket of factory front tow hooks

My 05 didn't come with tow hooks, I checked with the dealer and bought them for $55, hardware and all. Took me 30 minutes to install, had to unbolt the bumper.

Those are the OEM hooks, mounted to the frame rails. They're not built into the bumper, but they're not very useful. I could barely get a tow strap through them.

The Cab & Chassis seem to have MUCH better tow hooks.
