Archived stuck installing bost gague

i im installing the bost gague and genos included the "bost bolt" i have looked at older threads on this and it seems easy enough the only thing is mt bolt wont fit in the manafold. i removed the 10 mm bolt that the instructions and the forums said to but the boost bolt is wider and is shorter. from what i can see it looks like the aluminum the bolt goes thru is 1/4 in thick before the threads start. the bolt provided has only 1/2 inch of threads. i think i have the wrong bolt!

Boost bolt

The picture that you posted is not the boost bolt. That looks like the fitting that goes in the back of the gauge.



Did you hold the boost bolt up next to the bolt that you removed from your manifold to see if it was the same? The boost bolt that I received from Genos was the same length and size. The threads had a rough spot that I had to use a thread file on to clean up, but after that the boost bolt screwed in easily.
