Has this happened to anyone else? The last couple of times it has gotten really cold (+20 or so) my speedometer guage has not functioned until I tapped on the faceplate. Is is just getting stuck or is this the beginning of a real problem that I need to take care of?

Thanks

Never had that happen to my truck up here, even at -40 C or colder... which happens way too often. ;)

May be a quirk like my high beam switch that won't click on until the interior of the truck is warmed up to about -18 C. Go figure.

mine quit counting miles. I am always in a habit of gauging the miles between points and looking at the highway signs to see if the distance to the next town is what the sign says. Had to have it replaced under warranty so I could keep my oil changes up to date. Cruise control was not very good either. After Speedo change and trans rebuild both work fine. I really don't know if they repaired or replaced spedo, but the milage was the same when I received the truck back.

I guess this will be the germlin of this truck. My old Chevy S-10 had the wiper come on randomly could never figure out why. Maybe the dodge feels I am not driving her fast enough :p
