!!!!

With only studs and no rings, I drove around for about 6-7 months Hitting 53-55 psi of boost Egt's were only 1440-1530... . Time is the factor, It will happen with only studs torqed to 140... . hope this helps

I was told the stock gasket will go to 55psi. I have seen 48psi on my stocker. If you stay around 45 I would say your fine... . higher than that I would change my mind.

I would do a good re-torque and run it like that but make a plan on having the head slightly ported, decked and a single O-Ring put it. I personally am not a fan of Fire Rings except for the extreme trucks, way to many issues with them.

The big engine builders like Hasiley, Scheid ect have this setup down pat but I have had zero isses with my single O-Ring setup for over 4 years now and call it 70K. Keep it mind it was setup correctly from the beginning!

Bingo Jim! Main reason I had my engine built at Haisleys! they know what there doing... Up here, diesel preformance is behind the times compared to down there and figured if I was going to spend the money anyway, I may as well do it right! I also have to say I have heard many say that a properly done o-ring job done right will give you no problems but thats hard to find up here. Actually, just took my brothers truck to haisleys shop to the other month (picked it up the weekend of IRP) and we are very glad we went that route.
