There seems to be more of these symtoms showing up. I initially reported on this last spring (April) after installing the EZ. I talked with the folks at Edge and they felt the problem may be fuel filter. I changed the fuel filter, yes it was dirty and the problems seemed to go away. But what I didn't realize is the outside air temps where still in the 30's - mid 40's. When I changed out the filter and towed again, outside air temps were in the 50's and above. I went all summer without a hitch. Now that the temps are back cool again, the problem has come back, but now running empty (unless you call an ATV in the bed a load). I'm not running the Edge on the hot side, just middle position. Anyone else with additional information???

What about those of you running the VA-CPC with boost foolers, any of theses hesitation symtoms with your set-ups.

Or the folks with just injectors/boost foolers?

From what I am reading, it appears most of the symtoms are with those of us running Edge products!

I've never had a stumble until about a month ago. It happens at low rpm (1200-1600) and is quite annoying. It kinda bucks like it doesn't have enough Torque to keep you going which I know isn't the problem. Seems like more and more people are having this problem. Hope the problem is an easy fix once someone figures out what it is.

Runaway, I have done most or all to get rid of the skip or hesitation what ever you want to call it. I have not brought the truck to the dealer.

The truck's engine skips (4 times) at 1800-2200 RPM'S W. O. T. after 2300 the skip goes away and runs fine to 3200. But I have lost a lot of time. I have 12,000 miles on and this has done it from about 3,000. When I put in the upgrades

When I slap the pedal to the floor this thing happens, if I do this slow I do not notice it hardly at all. I put on (3) new Lift Pumps. I change all the lines to 3/8, I went with aeroquip steel braded lines and fittings. It did not change a thing I still had the problem.

So I put on the two fuel pumps 1-15lb 100gph and 1-7lb 100gph pusher, no change the VP-44 will not handle WOT.

The build date is 10-00 I think this is a KEY to what went on. I can also do this with the box off. I put it in drive and power break it will happen.

Got to go work on the new Trans input shaft. Talk to you latter. Steven

I have had the stumble 5 or 6 times too. It has not happened since last winter either sooo..... ? When it has happened to me it feels like the key was shut off, total power loss, for less than 1 second I would guess. Just long enough to scare the ____ out of me. I hope it does not come back this winter, but it seems to be fairly common and not year specific.

Mine Stumbles Too

Guys:

Mine only stumbles when I have the TST turned on. My problem has gotten better... used to happen at least once per tank. Now it seems like maybe every 2000 - 3000 miles. Stumble is ugly when towing. It did it once while towing from TX in Oct.

I bought a Palm Pilot and and Quick Check II but haven't had time to check it out. I think I configured ECM cable wrong. Hope it tells me something.

I'll be watching this and other posts for possible answers.

I've been struggling with something similar for awhile now. Could it be a AAPS (throttle position sensor)? At the time mine started I had a new TC, VB, brake job and lift pump change done about the same time which I regret doing at the same time now.
