My truck is fairly stock, notable exceptions include #10 TST plate, 4" exhaust, K & N, and a Joe D clutch.
Sometimes on takeoff, particularly when cold and/or starting off easy (2nd gear), as soon as it gets rolling, it stumbles, right about the time the clutch is all the way out. It feels like it is overfueling, then quits all of a sudden.
I took a look at the gov lever adjustment on Piers' site, and the lever hits the plate near the tip, but slightly above it. Could this be causing my stumble?
I have noticed that when the AFC is adjusted for minimal smoke, the stumble is a little better. I will be putting it back together shortly, and (light permitting) adjust the AFC a little cleaner to verify (and because it needs it anyway).
Thanks,
Pete
