I pulled a trailer today and found the old girl missing at 2400 rpm. Disconnected my tap and seemed to run fine. Truck has been dogging it. Putting a new exhaust manifold in when it gets here. I need to ditch the banks ottomind but really don't want to lose my gauges. What if I left the vp untapped and got a smarty. I don't care about tons horsepower. I just tow a 10k trailer occasionally. Or maybe an ez. Any thoughts on this. I have an older ottomind with the round connector. I think the banks is trying to de-fuel. Maybe because I have a problem. I probably have 200 miles on a new vp. It was suspected.

I had the stumbling, like the key was turned off and back on. It was the fueling box, bought a new Edge Comp, problem solved.

I've had the Edge Comp since just after I DTT'ed (RIP) the trans back in 03 - Thumbs UP! Not sure if the Ottomind gauge system (?) will play nice with the Edge, but I'd think if the Ottomind isn't connected to the VP, which the Edge Comp should be tapped to VP for optimum results they may get along??? I've always had 3 pod a-pillar gauges so...

You have to be able to eliminate timing in one of the boxes if stacking. The only one I'm familiar with is the Smarty and it can do this. Of all the boxes that are out there, the Smarty doesnt make the most power but it is the most reliable.

I am going to make sure my ottomind is grounded well and try it again. A few threads out there about poor grounds and fueling boxes. I think i will lose my boost gauge and the ottomind uses the map sensor. I will need that connection for whatever i use. Also been reading about the quadzilla adrenaline. Most everybody seems fond of the edge comp.
