First off, my truck is a STOCK 2000 ETC 6 speed.

My problem is when I drive my truck in 70 degrees or warmer weather the truck runs great, but when I shut it off for 20 minutes or less, upon starting it up again the truck goes into limp mode. However, when I drive it for about a mile or so, it starts to surge and buck and then slowly regains full power.

The truck runs great all year until we get into the warmer weather up here in British Columbia, Canada.

Now here is the kicker, it has been scanned twice and no codes come up. The dealer has put a black box on it for a week and nothing comes up.

Here is a list of everything I have replaced:

* lift pump

* injector pump

* APPS

* IAT & Map sensor

* Coolant temp sensor

* Crank shaft sensor

Does anybody have any ideas; I would sure appreciate your input as I am at my witts end with this thing. :confused:

the first thing I would do is to get a fresh bucket of fuel, when it does this (and I know it will be tough) run a line from the inlet of the lift pump to the bucket of fuel, preferably clear, and see if it runs any differently. or run a clear line inbetween the feed line and lift pump, and see if your getting any air when it does it

Thanks DMcPherson. The truck although will idle fine and run normal up to 1100 rpm then it limps till it seems air gets in under the hood and it regains power. The only thing left to replace would be the ECM. It might be getting hot after a heatsoak sitting.
