stupid chip question

dumb chip question

i just bought an edge comp box and i was wondering how they can tell me the rated hp of the chip . they dyno the eng. or a truck . dos the hp rating varry from truck to truck. if they were both stock just some dumb questions . every one tells me that i will like the comp. thanks josh

Edge's advertised hp gains are taken from the rear wheels, not the engine. Some trucks will dyno more hp than others, but most likely the numbers will be close, providing there isnt anything wrong with the truck(s) to begin with. However, an ETC will see higher numbers than an ETH.
