What is the inside diameter of a -4AN and -6AN line. I'm getting ready to setup fuel press gauge and I'm tring to figure out what size line to use to remotely mount my sender.

Thanks

J

WHAT a really GOOD site on hoses, I'm a newbie about to do fuel gauges. Looks like #4 from the port of the banjo to the sensor. I have read about 16" - 24" of tubing to dampen the pulses.

If my aviation day memory is correct......

for those who can not get to the link.

I belive that a -4 AN fitting is 1/4" and a -6AN is 3/8" etc. Redram has the general idea but the botton number should be 16 instead of 32. I alway remember that -8 is 1/2 inch and -16 is one inch. The hose ID will be slightly smaller. Hope that my memory is correct . Larry
