Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Stupid question

I'm beginning to get the impression that my VP44 is on its way out. I still have the Cummins engine warranty left on my truck (02) and I was wondering if the warranty covers the injection pump, or fuel system period?

Dodge replaced mine at 55k... your warranty should be good to at least 70k... depending on the length of warranty you got... make sure to install an aftermarket lift pump because the stock one is no good... Dodge makes a retrofit in-the-tank pump, but I have heard good, and bad, about that. I have an airdog and am very happy with it.

Yeah, I just bought the truck a couple months ago, and it didn't have any of the owners manuals with it. I'm planning on some type of aftermarket lift pump anyways, but I didn't wanna do it quite yet incase that would void my warranty.
