Brilliant decision #1: Buy Ford Diesel.

Brilliant decision #2: Pull stunts like that with said Ford Diesel.

Sounds like his turbo won't be around for very long, he was barking it pretty hard! Hit almost 60psi and just let off the throttle, you can hear it!!!

and i thought my truck smoked when i moved the plate full forward and didn't adjust the afc from full slack for the test drive

Hmmmm, wonder how long that headgasket will last too, if its not studded. Thats alot of boost for a Ferd. I was trying to see the EGTs also, bet they were fairly high... .

For as much smoke as he was blowing on the road he sure wasnt accelerating very fast... I would have paid $$$ to see a Dodge go flying by him in the middle of him showing off his stupidity...

Smoke is cool when its done with style... . thats just making us all look bad.

A few puffs on a Hybrid :D:cool:

Blacking out an entire highway and barking the turbo like that: :confused:

We were at Muncie a couple years ago, these two fords in front of us rolled on a lot of smoke. So like in days of thunder, i ran thru the smoke. Boy was i surprised when i almost rear-ended the ford. Randy

I thought we all do that time to time. We don't?

As far as barking the turbo, that seems to be very common among Ford owners around here in my area. I don't know if it's normal/abnormal but I hear it frequently from the 7. 3's around here. Most noticable from the many Ford trucks w/manual transmissions passing my house headed North "UP" the hill from the intersection.

I watched the boost and know it's bragging rights for many Ford owners. And many Cummins owners too for that matter. Some still don't understand air-flow vs air restriction.

Its stupid kids like that, fogging out 4 lane roads, and completely fogging out people minding their own business that give diesel owners a bad name. Im all for smoke, but only when it makes power and isnt done in an ignorant manner.
