I guess its not really a hesitation, but while driving I can feel the compressor kicking in and out. Nobody else in the truck has noticed it, that is how subtle it is. My first thought was batteries/alternator being weak or bad, but they both check out.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any Ideas??

Mine does in too and it looks like we have very similar rides. I can feel mine do it idling at stop lights and when the tach is around 1900 rpm. The thoughs seem to be a very powerful compressor. I actually feel mine in the accel. pedal with a slight vibration at high rpm, but cruising on the interstate at 75 mph I never notice it though.

I noticed others experiencing this so I just ignore it. Besides, I'm sure the dealers will tell you it is "normal".

I had the A/C compressor vibration at 55 to 65 MPH that I could feel in the accelerator pedal. When I had the truck in for the power steering hose update, I asked the tech check out the vibration problem. He found a compressor mounting bolt loose. After tightening up the compressor mounting bolts to spec, the vibration is gone.

I've had lots of truck with AC, and sure it may be normal to notice it at idle, but not while traveling. My 95 sure didn't do it!

Jman, you stumbled right into it< 1900 RPM's running down the highway at 60. I' haven't run 75 enough to know if it's noticeable or not

Sounds like I'm not alone though, so I'll live with it. I find it distracting, not a smooth "feel" for someone who drives by "Feel" if that makes any sense.
