Cummins powered Van on Ebay!

Anyone have engine pic's of a cummins in a newer powerstroke?

I currently have a 1988 Suburban with a 6. 2L in it and i am going to do an engine swap for a Cummins. I have come across at 2000 24valve ISB out of a Ford Service truck. The engine is in great shape and has less than 50K on it! the only problem is that the Sump is in the front of the engine. I was wondering if anyone knew if i could fit it in the suburban with the front sump or if i had to get the piece that made the sump in the rear. The suburban currently has 6 in suspenion lift with 35s and a dana 60 front, corporate rear.

Any help is greatly appreciated... thank you

My engine was like yours. The sump must be in the rear. Buy the correct oil pickup tube from Cummins for a rear sump. Your oil pan will rotate and bolt back on with the sump in the rear, that is what I did. You could gain a little more clearance by using the smaller Dodge pan and pickup tube but you will have less oil capacity, you could probably find them on Ebay. Either way you will have to cut out your old crossmember and build a new one. You will need the dipstick and tube for a rear sump also.
