Competition Suggestions on 700-800hp on 07s

Just looking for suggestions/opinions on reaching 700-800hp at the tires on my '07. Obviously, theres other mods Id need other than my Smarty, so heres whats planned:



Full billet transmission from Goerend

GDP Fuel Boss lift pump and MK-2 bigline and filter kit

Dual CP3s

Injectors-DDP 90s? maybe

II SilverBullet

Intercooler upgrade

ARP headstuds and probably fire ring head

Home-made cold air intake w/ Amsoil filter



That about sums it up. The real question is how to get the extra fuel to stack with my Smarty with the limited number of boxes that are compatible with the '07s. Nitrous is still up in the air, but may do water injection. Truck HAS to be a daily driver, as thats all I have right now. Any input/help/info is appreciated. Thanks

ARP 2000 head studs the stock MLM gasket is good to a 1000

The air intake is critical, in moving air in to the turbo

This combo is good for a easy 845 hp on fuel and 928 on NX



NADP full billet transmission is indestructible so far.

What box/programmer you running for fuel, still the Dr. P and... well I forgot what the other was. I was planning on doing a similar build engine-wise to Project X, but not sure what compatability issues I may have with the 07... And how does it "behave" on the street? Thanks

I have used several different ones, The NitroFlash Project X module or old Dr. p is a very brutal and to the point and get the job done along with a Diablo Predator programmer. . This is safe and will make 900 + hp with a small dose of NX.

I also use a TS MP8 and its is also to the point in different ways I have Dennis whip me up a race box and the results are great and work similar to the Nitro Flash . I have used the GBE Six Gun and have made great power also and this would be the chouse on a pure street driven truck. With NX I have made 780 hp with a SG stacked with a MP8

Heck the NGM truck is making 960hp with a single charger and little spray.

Why do you think your running out of fuel

I have 26,800 of rail pressure at that power level

I hear this all the time “I’m Draining the rail”. Get a data logger and then tell me what you see. And tune to it



The Industrial Injection stage pump is easily capable of 1000 + hp. In my educated opinion, now this is with a good cylinder head, good cam, a good single turbo and small but efficient II injectors



Here is a graph of Project X at this tune for over 35 seconds and the data doesn’t lie

Thanks for the replys; nothings set in stone but I would like to keep my Smarty. I still have about 9 months to figure out which direction Im going to go and to wait for more stuff thats works for 07s...

Well on the 06 mega cab with 100hp sticks,II pump,htt 66 turbo,smarty w/special program,ATS full race trans,afe II and cfm intake and a small shot of N2o and ran a 12. 17@115 mph and 13. 45@111mph on #2 all this at 2300ft. and weighed in at 8367# can't find the converter right now but I think it is around 875hp. Oh yea it was hittin the speed limiter!

I have a local customer with a 2006 quad cab long box with 200hp sticks, stock cp3, htt 66 stainless, and a billet transmission that ran 12. 7 in the quarter on #2. Not sure what he weighs but I don't think thats too shabby for stacking a quad box with a crazy larry program... nothing special.

Yeah stock cp3 to boot! Not bad at all.
