Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) suggestions on Mag-Hytec trans pan

I just received my Mag-Hytec 727dd transmission pan today. I'm looking to install it myself this weekend. I have a 2002, auto, single wheel, quad cab, 85k and not towed with much. I've dropped pans before. I was just curious to know if there is something to watch for, or do that I might not be aware of (tips or tricks). Also your advice on types of fluids that I should use (synthetic or non). Thanks.

I'd use blue locktite on the bolts. Mine loosened up even with the lockwashers. Otherwise at least check them after a few days. Different people reccommend different fluids. I used amsoil in mine. You may as well change the filter while you have it apart.
