I've been working lots of overtime and deciding to throw a few bombs to the red dodge. I was gonna order this tonight but i decided to ask the more experienced. The order will contain POD's,16cm housing,4"rip rook exhaust,Guages on the pillar. Is there anything im forgetting or will need. It just my work truck but i will pull a skiboat some of the time. How will smoke be at this level. starwheel is turned in and fuel screw is 1. 5 turns

With the PODs, you may want to tighten up the AFC spring, and back off the so-called smoke screw. They will smoke at idle sometimes; and will leave a cloud, esp if your full power screw is in that far. WIth stock fuel settings, they add about 50hp/ 105lb-ft torque. I would also get a transmission temp gauge. May or may not be able to get a 3 gauge pillar mount. Hafta ask. If you are interested in power without smoke (or less of it) spring for some EDMs, or maybe Bully Dodg's 60 hp injectors. Lot of guys are happy with PODs; I decided against them due to smoke concerns, as mine already smoked enough.

Depending on what the extra power does, you may need (will definitely WANT) a tighter converter and HD valve body. I'm not too swift on autos, other than let someone else own them.

You got a tach? You're already wired up for it, I think. May not be if yours is a 91, now that I think of it. (put the fire extinguishers away; I wasnt thinking THAT hard:rolleyes: ) Mine is nonIC, so it definitely isnt set up for it.

You are gonna love it!!

Read up on how to port/polish the turbo housing and take the time to do it before you install it... .

You will probably have some smoke... but you can play with the pump settings if that bothers you.

BOMB on!!

Is your filter stock? If so you might want to consider a K&N or a BHAF to bring in more air.

What do you have for a boat?

Got the better part of mine from a farmer replacing the exhaust on his semi. Too broke to get the rest of the pieces to finish it out the back; the underside is getting kinda sooty after 5K mi. :D

K&N- that reminds me... ..... look for a few pictures in this forum.

Get at least a 50 psi boost guage. Pre-turbo pyro. Autometer makes a 2 guage pillar pod. No 3 pillar for 1st gen. With stacks you will still get smoke on the tow behind. If you don't like smoke stay away from pods. My full fuel is about 3-4 turns in, the rest of the pump is mildly adjusted. No smoke at idle, but plenty with some throttle. BTW, where is Newark,IL?
