Not a bad Idea. I do have it on an agreed value collectors insurance. But, probably not high enough from what I am seeing in Mikes posts.

Remember, it’s a free country. Folks can ask whatever they want. What counts is the sale price. That can be hard to discern. Try logging onto the Mecum website and view recent auction results. It’s a pretty good indicator of what a good example sells for.

So why would I post a picture of a water bottle sitting on a hubcap on top of a filthy quad?

Answer, last piece of the project just went on. Gluing that emblem back on was the last thing needed. If the weather holds out, there's a cruise night on Friday over in Mt. Pleasant where it is going to make its debut. Can't wait.

Finally a nice fall day and some time to take it out for little drive.

It runs very well. That little smoke issue I had when I first got it running is long gone with a few miles on it.

If I remember correctly, these things were rated at 140 HP. Combined with the 3.07 gears and the 3-speed manual, you are not going anywhere quickly. But perfect for a "Sunday Drive" with the kids.

I'm so thankful I finally got around to this project and have it back on the road.

Ok, It's a Chevy on a Dodge site ….. But it's very cool my first truck was a 1975 C20. It was a farm truck. But it was my first. But even then I knew I always wanted a Dodge.... Now if money was not an issue there is a 1979 Dodge Warlock with my name on it on ebay.
All in all you've got a gem of a truck I'd do everything I could to keep it stock but make it safe to enjoy.

Thanks. It's been a lot of fun getting it going.

Really nice, truck looks new. I had one almost same color years ago.

Thanks.

I've got my old Corvette up on the lift now and it's going to be my winter project once I get some small home repair projects finished. This is my year to finally get to some of the things I've had on the back burner for a while.

Very happy for you, Justin!
That truck is a head turner.
Why not bring it to the Big truck show at Macungie Park next year? It’d be a hit for sure- especially with the history you have with it.

I've never actually heard of that show. But, I just looked it up. Looks like a great event.

Is it mid June every year? Do you have to be a club member to attend?

No, don’t need to be a member to show (I don’t think) and definitely not to go, but I joined just to get “Double Clutch”, the magazine/ publication. It’s the fri/ sat of Father’s Day weekend every year. Also, it’s down the road from the Mack Truck assembly plant, which is also open and shuttle show goers to n fro.
I try to go every year.

I'll look in to it and see if I can get away that weekend. It basically depends on the kid's schedules.

I'd have to trailer it out there for sure, which isn't a big deal and find a place to stay that will fit a truck and trailer.

If you Justin or anyone else is interested, here’s the Annual meet info. I always thought this would be a great meet up opportunity for us who live in the Mid Atlantic/ Northeast.

Excellent sir. Thank you. I just hope the show still goes on this year. If so, I will certainly try to make it out there.
