We're planning what has become an annual summer outing to a National Park. We've done Death Valley twice (actually a late winter/spring trip), Zion twice (with a side trip to Bryce), Yellowstone/Grand Teton, and Glacier. We're thinking of Olympic for this July. We usually have several other families traveling with us. Last year in Glacier we had 8 travel trailers/5th wheels and one group in the cabin. We'll likely have that many or more again.

Has anyone had experience with Quileute Oceanside Resort? It's on a reservation and has good Yelp! reviews, though they are mostly for the cabins. Any other good places to set up camp? The sites in the park are mostly limited or no hookups and don't take reservations which makes it pretty dicey for that many rigs. We will be traveling with dogs. I think we had 11 last time!

Any and all info you have garnered on ONP would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.

Hurricane Ridge is a nice day trip. If you are hikers sent half of the group to Deer Park and the other half to Obstruction Point. Exchange vehicle keys in the middle. I think it is 7 miles across the ridge. Great views of the Straights and Mount Olympus.

Lake Crescent, Salt Creek Park, Ediz Hook and Dungeness.
